Beginning with the fundamentals of three-dimensional design, students will work with a variety of sculpting materials, including cardboard, plaster, clay and wood. You will develop studies for finished pieces and you will be introduced to working from a live model. This studio course focuses on developing skills while encouraging personal investigations into the fundamental principles of 3-D design.
This 8-week course is designed for students 14 to 19 years old with a general interest in the visual arts and those looking to build strong portfolios for post-secondary institutions. The course provides students with an opportunity to try new media and techniques in a safe, guided and engaging process.
Fees
General public $325 + GST | AGO members $260 + GST (includes all materials)
